How to Pick a Circular Keyway Lock

These locks are classified as "multiple Inline" but I think they are more like cruciform locks without the warding. Whatever. They are intimidating in appearance but are really not too difficult to open once you figure out how to tension the things - and that's what I try to cover here. They are not common in the US but I often run into them in Europe, as well as the Far and Middle East. One of the best makers is in Vienna, Austria named Helason. I've not yet managed to pick a Helason deadbolt - they are TOUGH. Anyway, most of these type of locks are pretty easy to open, so don't be hesitant to take one on. They're a lot of fun!
