This month's meeting will take place on Thursday, September 6th at 7pm. We meet at HackPittsburgh (1936 Fifth Ave, in the garage around the back on Watson at Jumonville).
No previous skill is needed; the meetings are open to all skill levels. The range of topics are all over the place, focusing on anything from basic concepts to theoretical techniques. You are welcome to bring your own tools, but it is not required.
While the meetings are free flowing and don't have a set agenda, the suggested topic of discussion this meeting will be defeating common hotel lock mechanisms. This includes exploring vulnerabilities and bypass techniques for common door safety latches and sliding chain locks, as well as discussing Cody Brocious' recent vulnerability disclosure where he was able to quickly unlock Onity hotel locks using an arduino microcontroller.
