From the shot at 5:05 you can also see how bad the tolerances are on the plug. Disappointing build quality makes it easy to open. They used the drill bit for too long for making more plugs in the factory and got these ugly holes... Nice job picking/raking and good to let every one know about it. Also this euro lock had no snap protection, right?
@LockNoob @LockNoob 24.08.2018->No, no snap protection at all. They sell these locks new for about GBP5 -10 so it’s no surprise they are so terrible :-)

Your neighbor Germany has a alot better specs & engineering than British ones.... but who won the war? British specs may have gone down the toilet since then.?
@LockNoob @LockNoob 16.08.2018->U.K. still makes great locks - to be fair, I don’t know where these ones are made - China possibly... U.K.? But yeah. Hermany makes some GREAT locks :-)

Hey my friend, can you tell me where ì can get some heavy tension wrenches, and ì am looking for a company that makes Disk detainer lock picking tools. Thank you brother.Great video
@LockNoob @LockNoob 16.08.2018->Hmmm, well you could try and make them out of music wire. Many thicknesses, strong and cheap?

Don't complain! It's a great lock for novice pickers.

To be fair if it contained only one spool I would be equally disappointed as a standard Yale rim cylinder contains them and as far as I know are no more secure.
I know tolerances play a large part in the security of the locks, but I think a serious look at the standards should be reviewed by "someone"
@LockNoob @LockNoob 16.08.2018->I think a couple of spools would definitely help though. I quite like the Yale night latch :-)

Funny how Euro locks are trash compared to others with all standards, whereas most American locks are all standard haha

did you pick the interior or exterior portion of that lock? sometimes companies will put all standard in the interior side and a couple Spools in the exterior to make it a little more difficult.
@LockNoob @LockNoob 15.08.2018->I’ve pocked both sides after filming and all standards, sadly. Usually in Locks with a specific interior and exterior, they mark this clearly on the bible (though not always) :-)

Loads of these fitted on Local Authority buildings , cheap means more bottom-line profit for the approved contractor who couldn"t care less & are just looking for the next call-out (£) - by the way i"m a LA caretaker :] good vid. LN :]

It sounds like those are the most common lock in the UK just like the kwikset is here in the USA.
@LockNoob @LockNoob 15.08.2018->The most common lock (I think) is the Yale night latch rim cylinder. eurospec are very common, but so are Yale, Iseo and Mila :-)
