I agree that the title is misleading. Almost 30 minutes to open by a professional locksmith, with specialized tools. Pretty decent "special protection".

oakrockranch, Well, not here in Eastern, Northern Europe and Russia, where most of the external doors are made from 2mm steel plates (and the doorjambs are even thicker).
          @pete_lind 09.09.2015->In last 30 years have scandinavian entry doors for houses made with metal plate laminated in them ( even wooden doors have metal plate in them ) . Also doors open out not in like in USA so you need to kick whole frame or wall in too . Its easy to have paper on table and good lights to pick a lock . Try on real door that lock is recommended to be installed 40 cm higher than main lock ... its dark and you have all those small parts with you a table a light and paper ... bet in 25 min someone will see you and start wondering what are you doing and phone police ... and still there is that main lock too you need to pick . Boda locks ( like 901 ) are extra protection its never the only lock .

Or, learn to pick, make a decent tool, and pick the lock properly, rather than spending half an hour running a decode.

Waitaminute. 7 minute video sped up 5x = 35 minutes for a (numerical) brute force attack on the lock by someone with specialized tools who knows how to pick this specific type of lock. How can the author say the buyer is cheated? looks like a GREAT lock to me.

This is a lever lock. AFAIK Abloy no longer makes this type of lock.

Just know watched the video so that I saw the key too. Clearly the pins on the key has more than two possible lengths.

As far as I know there are no pins in Abloys, but rolling discs (at least in the simplest ones), and each disc has at least 6 or more possible settings. I doubt abloy has ever made simple pin-locks.

Actually here in Finland we use these Abloy/BODA locks as secondary, more robust "safety locks" next to common Sento/Protec/Classic/Exec Abloy. In new apartment buildings this practise has been replaced by secondary security lock with similar hook bolt as this but with Sento/Protec/Exec system.

Show me a lock that isn't pickable. Well the Abloy Protec may have the title but that can be self impressioned (see another vid on YT). Actually I believe that shows that picking that lock requires so great knowledge and the right tools nto to mention oceans of time that virtually no burglar can/will do it. So they just break a window or force the door with a crowbar etc.. And that's exactly it's purpose - if doing non destructive entry you're 99% sure the insurance won't cover your loss.
